We are looking for an experienced Product Owner / Product Manager to lead a discovery stage and a product development for a family of Payouts products (both B2B and B2C layers) in Xsolla. The role will be responsible for building a product focused on various products in the Xsolla Regulated Payment Business Lab. Assist in initiatives in the Crypto-Commerce business line.
This person will work within a tight-knit global product team, and will play an integral role for KYC aggregation and user acquisition of UGC creators to Xsolla’s ecosystem through Payouts products.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leady discovery stage for a bunch of new idean and solutions related to payouts .
Identify the customer needs and work with current users of the existing products.
Initialize and directly participate in interviews with the target audience.
Form and maintain a product development roadmap.
Keep up to date and prioritize features in the product backlog.
Communicate the product development strategy to the team.
Be part of a product development team and participate in building a product culture
Identify and minimize product development risks, discuss risks with the team and Stakeholders.
Work on a product metrics improvement after the launch.
Manage a backlog by the data-driven / experiment-driven manner.
Creating a team from a scratch (onboarding, retaining)
Supporting the professional growth of employees through the accumulation of knowledge and experience
Working with the strengths and weaknesses of team members
Building a culture of collective responsibility for commitments
3+ years work experience as a product manager or product owner (e-wallet, neo-bank, p2p / c2c transfers, payments).
A good understanding of the ecom, adtech, video, and mobile gaming markets (not i-gaming).
Understanding of how the B2C, B2B, C2C payments market works in the world.
Understanding of Visa Direct and Mastercard Moneysend works.
Understanding of the typical tasks a payout products solve for customers in different segments.
Understanding of leading products, segments, competitors.
Understanding of a business models and the unit-economy of a payout products.
Understanding of licenses and interbank relations in B2C and B2B2C payout segments in different countries of the world.
General understanding of the structure of payment products (typical bottlenecks and risks from a product and a technological perspectives; how gateways, escrow, deposits, cascading, tokenization work; how the KYC / AML / OFAC procedures work, what is the risk management for payments)
English at B2+ level.
Experience with i-gaming on the side of large payment aggregators (client base - 100+ clients in different countries)
Experience in the billing of a large clients (skill-based, operating in 10+ countries, 5+ languages)
Experience in crypto-exchanges (regulated with licenses) or large DeFi, as well as Web 3.0 projects
Experience in the video game industry or influencer marketing in positions directly related to a UGC's creator payouts.
