Mechanical Supervisor of maintenance department
My duties include but not limited to commissioning, start-up as well as operating of CPF, Well Pads and Water Intake of WQ-2 project in Iraq. Development and mentoring of Iraqi supervisors as part of asset nationalization. Working with CMMS SAP system, raising notifications, creation of work orders, materials ordering, tracking, and utilization. Researching of required documents on the company net service, such as P&IDs and OEM manuals. P&ID and drawings reading and interpretation.
I received an Honors Award Certificate of Appreciation for the personal contribution towards professional excellence and selfless attitude towards hard work. Dated 09.2014 and signed by the asset managing director Marat Salikhov.
The following is a list is inclusive but not exhaustive of job responsibilities:
• Management of preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Arranging and ensuring maintenance and repair of mechanical process equipment such as Centrifugal & Reciprocating Pumps and Compressors, Diesel Generators, Mechanical seals, Tanks, Heat Exchangers cleaning & replacement of tube bundles, Valves including Pressure Safety Valves, Pressure Vessels, X-mas Tree, Pipelines & Gathering systems
• Work with Permit to Work system
• Work with CMMS SAP system – notifications; work orders; materials ordering, tracking, utilization
• Lifting operation supervision
• Monitoring and ensuring availability of materials, spare parts, consumables, tools for maintenance and repair
• Review of the root causes analysis for equipment failures and follow-up with reliability analysis of mechanical equipment and development of measures to reduce failures rates and increase up time
• Quality control over construction and commissioning of mechanical equipment at newly built facilities
• Coordinate with various departments and companies involved in facility upgrades.
I was also involved with coaching & on-Job training for local Iraqi mechanical technicians in which the following subjects were covered:
• Flange management, including use of a manual torque wrench, hydraulic torque tool, pneumatic torque tool, flange alignment device, and hydraulic flange expander
• Mechanical handling, including rigging and slinging, as well as use of an overhead crane with 7 tons capacity
• Shaft alignment with laser “RotaLign Ultra IS” device as well as with dial test indicators
• Replacement of mechanical seals as well as them overhaul
• Bearings replacement, both friction and dynamic
• Tube bundles replacement on heat exchangers with floating head
